Youth ambassador suicide prevention event
A free event with a day of workshops for students and school staff to learn about managing crisis, and reducing self-harm and suicide.
This will be a pan-Hampshire event. Secondary schools will be invited to book 6-8 spaces for mature year 10-11 students and a couple of support staff, to attend an event focussed on managing crisis and reducing self-harm and suicide. The day will be led by staff from Hampshire CAMHS. The expectation is that the learning is then taken back to the individual schools attending. This will be a free event.
Venue: Cams Hill School, Sheerwater Avenue, Fareham, Hampshire PO16 8AH
Bookings are made for the full day, and the day will consist of a variety of interactive workshops and activities to enhance understanding, compassion, and kindness.
9am – 3pm on Tuesday, 11th October 2022.
