Parent & Carer Conference 2024 – FULLY BOOKED
A one-day event focused on parents/carers understanding their own needs and learning strategies to look after themselves as they support a child struggling with their own mental health.

This event has been co-produced in collaboration with Hampshire Parent and Care Network.
Hampshire CAMHS are delighted to confirm that our keynote speakers for this event are the authors of “How to cope when your child can’t”; Professor Roz Sharan, Dr Alice Welham and Ursula Saunders. This will be an opportunity to hear both their lived experience and key foundations of their book covering problem solving, acceptance and pertinent psychological strategies.
The day will also include a workshop covering further practical advice and strategies, and an afternoon session of gentle somatic movement, stretching, meditation & mindfulness, deep relaxation, led by Chameleon Coaching.
