You can contact the team to discuss new and existing referrals, as well as advice around the referral process and the services CAMHS provides.

Please contact the team using the Hampshire Specialist CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA) email address hantscamhsspa@southernhealth.nhs.uk. Please be aware that due to the high volume of requests received, Hampshire CAMHS cannot always reply to emails on the same working day.

If you need to speak directly with a clinician regarding a significant decline in a young person’s mental health or an increase in risk presentation, please contact us on 02382 317 912. If a clinician is unable to take your phone call, our administration team will take your details and a clinician will call you back. In the event of a mental health emergency, please contact 111.

Raising a concern or complaint

If you can raise your concern directly to the staff involved in your care this is the best way. The staff member will guide you. However, if you would prefer to talk to someone not involved with the team or would like to raise a concern or make a complaint about our service directly, please contact our Patient Experience Team.

For any press enquiries, contact the Hampshire & IOW Healthcare Media and Communications team.

The team is open for enquiries from journalists and members of the media from Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.

This number is for on-call communications and is not able to provide clinical support. If you need clinical support out of hours, please call 111 and speak to the mental health triage team.
