‘Let’s Talk About Philip’

A one hour performance about the loss of a brother to suicide and a family that didn’t talk about it for 32 years.

Please be aware that this performance contains a personal account of someone ending their life by suicide, and some people may find this information distressing. Hampshire CAMHS recommend that schools bring mature students from years 10 and 11 to this performance.

 

“Lets Talk About Philip”  is written and performed by Helen Wood and Gregor Hunt, and shares the personal experience of losing a brother to suicide, and the many issues that surround this issue.

Hampshire CAMHS will be running a number of events across Hampshire where this play will be performed. The morning events are secondary school focussed and will be followed up with workshops led by clinicians within CAMHS, to support young people’s understanding and resilience. . This event is suitable for those YP in years 10 & 11 and sixth form. Spaces at the daytime performances are limited and are on a first come basis.
