ABC (Advanced Better Care) Training

What is ABC (Advanced Better Care) Training?

ABC Training comprises of four FREE specialist targeted and focused training days for professionals working with children in care across the Hampshire county throughout 2019.

Each training day will provide a number of workshops focusing on key issues, giving information, top tips and practical skills for working with children in care. Attendees can select the workshops they attend.

Who is the training for?

  • Social workers and professionals in CIC/CIN teams
  • Staff from children’s homes
  • Staff in pupil referral units
  • Adoptive parents
  • Foster carers
  • Kinship carers
  • SENCO and ELSA/ pastoral staff.

There will also be a number of information stands of relevant agencies who support young people and their networks in attendance.
