NHS 75th Anniversary Projects – The Hot Air Balloon Project
The NHS celebrated its 75th Anniversary on 5th July 2023. A great opportunity to celebrate its achievements, and involve young people in creating something special to mark this exciting moment.
Hampshire CAMHS and Hampshire Cultural Trust will be working alongside professional artists and young people to create a hot air balloon that reflects 75 years of the NHS. Young people will be asked to create the designs that will be used. Schools will be tasked to consider the following 3 themes with their designs;
- What has the NHS achieved for young people over 75 years?
- What positive experience have you had with the NHS?
- What would your message to the NHS be on its 75th anniversary.
Selected designs would be used to create the balloon. Please send your submissions by 31st May 2023 to spnt.hantscamhsinnovation@nhs.net and title your email “Hot Air Balloon” We will need the original artwork for all the pieces that are selected.
The intention would be for schools and youth organisations that have been involved to take part in a day of celebration, sharing and focus on our mental health, on July 5th 2023, which will mark the 75th year of the NHS, at the sports hall, Sparsholt College, which can be booked via the events page on our website.
